This trip is open to participants ages 11-13.

The Summer Basecamp Adventure is designed for younger participants to sample moderate hikes and outdoor adventures before venturing further on a future Teen Outdoor Adventure.

Nestled in Crawford Notch, one of AMC's beautiful locations, The Highland Center, will be the base for this 3-day trip. Many great day hikes start in this area, allowing plenty of options to explore. Sweeping views of the the White Mountains, vast nature, and excellent trails are all within a day's hike. We will be paddling, swimming, hiking, and exploring. Most importantly, this trip is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the community built at our day programs.

The Summer Basecamp Adventure is offered at no cost to our families thanks to the fundraising efforts of our board and generous community support. In addition, On Belay provides food, clothing, and equipment for each participant. This trip is also possible because of the support and partnership of the AMC Outdoor Educators program and AMC Outdoor Journey Fund.
