This trip is open to participants ages 14-18.

The Summer Teen Outdoor Adventures (TOA) is a multi-day backpacking trip in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This year we’ll be staying at Cardigan Lodge campground and the high cabin on Mt. Cardigan. We hike among some of the most beautiful mountains in the world, wade in mountain streams, sleep in tents and AMC Cabins, eat delicious food prepared along the trail, and challenge ourselves with the support of the entire group. No previous hiking experience required! Just a sense of adventure and desire to challenge yourself.

Teen Outdoor Adventures are offered at no cost to our families thanks to the fundraising efforts of our board and generous community support. In addition, On Belay provides food, and the clothing and equipment necessary for each participant. We are able to do this in part because of the amazing generosity of AMC's Outdoor Educators program.
