Discover the stoke and fun of surfing when you learn with Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Company. You will work with experienced surf instructors to learn the safety, etiquette, and fundamental surfing skills during your 2-hour group session.
On Belay and Lucy’s Love Bus, invite young people undergoing cancer treatment or in remission* and their siblings to join us at North Hampton Beach in NH for a learn-to-surf adventure! Like other On Belay programs, we will provide opportunities to learn a new skill, be outside, and experience a community of kids with similar life experiences. This program is free for participants because of donors' generous support.
*This program is put on in partnership with Lucy’s Love Bus. We aim to provide opportunities for cancer patients and their siblings to benefit from free outdoor adventure programming.
For our participant’s safety, we ask that the following minimum requirements be met to register for this program:
Children must have a sibling undergoing cancer treatment or remission to participate in this program
Age 11+ only!
Know how to swim and tread water.
Be able to breathe independently and not require medical devices to sustain breathing.
Be able to maintain a closed mouth/lips while underwater.
Independently hold head upright without neck/head support.
Be able to independently turn from face down to face up and remain floating face up while wearing a properly fitted personal flotation device.
