Scott is a Senior Data Analyst at Liberty Mutual. He joined the board in 2016. Scott, his wife and their three sons reside in Barrington, NH. His sons have participated in On Belay events over the past 5 years. Joining the board was an opportunity to give back to the organization that has provided support to his family.
Senior Vice President Shareholder Services/Operations for Pax World
Maureen has worked in mutual fund operations since 1996, when she had the privilege of working for On Belay’s founder, Crescentia Healy-True at Citizens Funds in Portsmouth, NH. Maureen credits Crescentia as her role model and mentor, and is honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of On Belay by serving on the Board. Maureen joined the Board in 2012 and previously served as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of the Seacoast. She was born and raised in Maine, and has lived in Portsmouth since 1999.
Team Development Specialist, AFS-USA
Allie has worked as a Hall Director at UNH since 2010. She has spent the last two year coordinating UNH student volunteers to work with On Belay. Allie also works as a challenge course facilitator and first became involved with On Belay when she facilitated a program out at the Browne Center, she has been hooked ever since. Allie loves to be outside! She was born and raised in Southern Maine but now lives in Durham with her husband Charlie.
Eryn is the eldest of Crescentia’s daughters. She started with the On Belay back in 2004 as one of the first participants and has since grown with the program, filling various roles throughout the years such as volunteer, designer and fundraiser. In her free time she enjoys open water swimming and traveling the world.

Andy has been around quite a bit. After serving in the US Navy, Andy earned his degree at UNH studying Outdoor Education where he first starting volunteering with On Belay at the Browne Center. Andy is passionate about positive youth development and education and has worked with youth conservation and adventure programs from Casco Bay in Maine to the Continental Divide in Idaho/Montana, and all the way to the Himalayas in Nepal. With these experiences and previous board service with the New Hampshire Outing Club, Andy brings a fresh operating and programming lens to On Belay.
UNH Math Education Major
Morgan Ross is a student at the University of New Hampshire who got involved with On Belay her freshman year of college in the Fall of 2015. The kids at the first program she volunteered at made her fall in love with On Belay, and she has been volunteering at almost every program ever since. When she is not doing math or working with kids she enjoys playing basketball and running.
Leslie Claridge, III
Portsmouth Middle School
Leslie is a paraprofessional at Portsmouth Middle School and a graduate student in the University of New Hampshire’s Master of Education program. Previously, Leslie led students age 14-20 on international outdoor and adventure education programs for Adventures Cross Country. He grew up in Durham, NH and has been volunteering for On Belay since 2009. He is excited to join the board and help On Belay extend its positive impact to more kids and families throughout New England. In his free time, Leslie enjoys mountain biking, soccer, and exploring New Hampshire wilderness with his dog, Jarome.
Marcy Monkman Bookkeeping
Marcy and her husband, Jerry have lived in Portsmouth for over 20 years. They have two kids, Acadia & Quinn. They love to spend time at the ocean and hiking in the White Mountains. Marcy’s husband, Jerry, had cancer in 2013-2014. On-Belay was hugely instrumental in their getting through the hard times. Marcy joined the On-Belay board in September of 2015 and looks forward to contributing to this organization that has helped her family so tremendously.
Green Mountain Coffee
Alison is a Senior Recruiting Manager at Keurig Green Mountain and currently resides in Newbury, MA with her husband Steve. After hearing about On-Belay and then watching the participants at a program she knew she had to become involved. In her free time Alison enjoys outdoor activities year round, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
UNH Biology Education Student
Andrew is a student at the University of New Hampshire. He got involved with On Belay in the fall of 2015 and has been a UNH volunteer at every program he could since. Andrew enjoys spending time outside, being active, and loves working with kids. Andrew joined the board of directors in order to continue giving to On Belay in a more extended way.
