Carla, who is a Massachusetts native, joined the On-Belay board in 2021. She is an Accounts Payable Supervisor at Ropes & Gray and has worked in the finance field for over 20 years across numerous industries. She is an avid amateur astronomer and likes to split her time between writing, singing, and volunteering. The On-Belay mission is close to her heart as her mother and her best friend’s mother had pancreatic cancer when she was young. She knows firsthand what it means to have someone that understands what she was going through and is thrilled to be able to create that environment for others.

Over the course of her 35+ year career in the educational publishing industry, Anita has held numerous positions from an administrative assistant to sales leader to Senior Vice President. She served on her local school board for two terms and is an educational volunteer for the Blue Ocean Society. Anita loves to read, sing, learn, and walk the beach. She welcomes the opportunity to invest her years of experience in support of On Belay, its community and its mission.

Michelle Blanchette
Essential Oils Educator, Experienced Yoga Instructor, Wellness Coach & Life Reinvention Specialist
Michelle began her adult -life-after-college as a professional volunteer in AmeriCorps and later became the Volunteer Center Director at USC along with gaining her Masters in Public Art Studies. Her next reinvention took her across the country to become a craft store owner on the Seacoast where she refined her love for community building. She jumped back into the college fray as a Hall Director at UNH for 6.5 years, honing her coaching/mentoring skills and generally helping to keep quarter-lifers live stress-free while making good choices.

Before joining the board, Tyler was a participant with On Belay for four years and volunteer for one. He is currently enrolled at the University of New Hampshire and enjoys mountain biking and ultimate frisbee in his free time. Tyler aims to use his experience as a participant to bring a new perspective to the board.

Ed Strenk
Ed joined the On Belay board in October of 2019 after a career in secondary education, coaching, radio, organization development/training, sales and sales operations. He grew up in Philadelphia and moved to New England to attend graduate school in 1982 and never left. He lives in Rye, NH and enjoys the cold, the heat, meditation, QiGong and tennis.
