Maureen has worked in mutual fund operations since 1996, when she had the privilege of working for On Belay’s founder, Crescentia Healy-True at Citizens Funds in Portsmouth, NH. Maureen credits Crescentia as her role model and mentor, and is honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of On Belay by serving on the Board. Maureen joined the Board in 2012 and previously served as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of the Seacoast. She was born and raised in Maine, and has lived in Portsmouth since 1999.
Director of First Year Programs, New England College
Allie is the Director of First Year Programming at New England College. She previously worked at UNH and helped to coordinate On Belay volunteers in her role as a Hall Director. Allie became involved with On Belay when she facilitated a program out at the Browne Center, she has been hooked ever since. Allie loves to be outside, where you will find her in any free time. She was born and raised in Southern Maine but now lives in Goffstown with family.
Eryn is the eldest of Crescentia’s daughters. She started with the On Belay back in 2004 as one of the first participants and has since grown with the program, filling various roles throughout the years such as volunteer, designer and fundraiser. In her free time she enjoys open water swimming and traveling the world.

Andy has been around quite a bit. After serving in the US Navy, Andy earned his degree at UNH studying Outdoor Education where he first starting volunteering with On Belay at the Browne Center. Andy is passionate about positive youth development and education and has worked with youth conservation and adventure programs from Casco Bay in Maine to the Continental Divide in Idaho/Montana, and all the way to the Himalayas in Nepal. With these experiences and previous board service with the New Hampshire Outing Club, Andy brings a fresh operating and programming lens to On Belay.

Michelle began her adult -life-after-college as a professional volunteer in AmeriCorps and later became the Volunteer Center Director at USC along with gaining her Masters in Public Art Studies. Her next reinvention took her across the country to become a craft store owner on the Seacoast where she refined her love for community building. She jumped back into the college fray as a Hall Director at UNH for 6.5 years, honing her coaching/mentoring skills and generally helping to keep quarter-lifers live stress-free while making good choices.
Northeast SAP Channel Manager, Vistex
Peter is a lifelong resident of New Hampshire and current resident of Newmarket, he brings over 25 years of sales and business management experience in the enterprise software industry to the On Belay Board. This will be his first experience in the not-for-profit world and he is very much looking forward to leveraging his business experience to help On Belay continue to grow and expand as an organization while at the same time learning more about how to make an impact in the community through On Belay and its programs.
Assistant Director, Center for Program Design & Evaluation at Dartmouth, The Dartmouth Institute of Health Policy & Clinical Practice
Rebecca joined the On Belay board in 2019 and is looking forward to bringing her 20 years of experience in community service, fundraising, and board governance to On Belay. While her day job entails program evaluation and health systems research through a center she co-leads at Dartmouth, her passion is around building and strengthening community. Rebecca and her family live in Barrington, but just as often can be found outside, sailing, skiing, hiking, or rock climbing.
Before joining the board, Tyler was a participant with On Belay for four years and volunteer for one. He is currently enrolled at the University of New Hampshire and enjoys mountain biking and ultimate frisbee in his free time. Tyler aims to use his experience as a participant to bring a new perspective to the board.
