Summer Basecamp Adventure

This trip is open to participants ages 11-13.

The Summer Basecamp Adventure is an opportunity for younger participants to sample some of the best hikes in the White Mountains before venturing further afield on a future Teen Outdoor Adventure. Nestled between the Pemigewasset Wilderness and Presidential Range, the Highland Center, one of the AMC's amazing lodges, will be the base for this 3-day trip. There are so many great day-hikes starting for the Highland Center allowing for plenty of options to explore. Sweeping views, high peaks, and amazing trails are all within a day's hike. Most importantly, this trip is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the community built at our day programs.

The Summer Basecamp Adventure is offered at no cost to our families thanks to the fundraising efforts of our board and generous community support. In addition, On Belay provides food, and the clothing and equipment necessary for each participant. We are able to do this in part because of the amazing generosity of AMC's Center for Outdoor Learning and Leadership.
