In the spring On Belay received a gift from an anonymous donor which provided the means for creating a new promotional video which we desperately needed. As the reach of our program grew it became more difficult to send a staff member or volunteer to meet with every group interested in the program, sharing our program through video provides the ideal explanation when we can’t be there in person and a low cost way for friends and families to continue to share On Belay after their experience.

Multimedia journalist and designer, Erik Eisele offered his services to On Belay at a discount to make the project happen. Erik, husband of On Belay’s Excutive Director, was already familiar with the program and personally connected to the mission. He married his videography, photography with images shot by Michael Penney (long time friend of On Belay) and music from Tim Keenen to create three spectacular promotional pieces.

We are deeply grateful to the anonymous couple whose philanthropy made these videos possible and to Erik, Michael, Tim, Emma True and friends who all contributed to our new videos.

Enjoy them and please send them far and wide.

When we began the search process for a part-time program support person we had no idea how many fabulous people would contact us, excited, intrigued and eager to support On Belay. The search committee members wrestled with over a dozen applicants, musing about a fanciful reality where we could hire all of them.

We are please to welcome Morgan Decker to the On Belay family and feel honored to have her working with us.

As a teenager, Morgan participated program similar to On Belay and was inspired to learn how she could impact others through experiential education. Morgan graduated from the Outdoor Education Program at the University of New Hampshire in 2008 and has been working primarily as a facilitator at various challenge courses for community and school programs. As she returns to UNH to complete her Master’s Degree in Social Work she wanted to find a way to continue to work with youth and a non profit organizations. She joins the On Belay community hoping to focus on creative ways to keep the community connected and bring a new perspective. She is extremely excited to take on this new adventure and hopes to help the organization grow in many directions.
While many of her passions double as work and play during her down time Morgan can be found spending much of her time with her family and friends either on Pawtuckaway Lake or Winnipesaukee. Morgan freely admits, she really goes home to see her dogs as she can’t get enough of them. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, biking and reading in her hammock.

You can contact Morgan directly with program questions or just to say hello morgan@on-belay.org.

Keep an eye out for her on the UNH campus and at our next program.
